Our team can provide support to get you to where you want to be; their patience and support will give you the confidence to continue to be part of your community and do the things you enjoy.

Is there an additional cost for travel?

There is not additional cost for visits within the local area. Our care team will assist you in their vehicle to the places you wish to visit.

How do I know it is safe to travel with the care worker?

We carry out a risk assessment to ensure there are no risks to you or our team before a trip is made. We will only allow a Care Worker to take you out if we feel safe to do so. All of our team have business use insurance, a full driving licence and we check the vehicle has passed its MOT annually.

Can the care worker help me to go out even if I require my wheelchair?

Our Care Team are trained to use moving and handling equipment, they will assist you in and out of the car using your aids and take them with you to your destination. Whether it is a walking stick, a walking frame or a wheel chair we carry out a risk assessment before any visit and ensure your safety and the safety of our team is at the forefront of the service. If safe to use then the Care Worker will be more than happy to assist you.
