Where a loved one is at the end stages of their life; we understand that their pain is hard to manage for family and friends. We can take that stress away allowing you to spend quality time together.

We can provide assistance by monitoring pain levels, requesting pain reviews with the GP and liaising with the district nurses and the hospice to manage pain relief medication. We are also able to administer controlled drugs to manage the pain so your loved one can remain home for as long as possible.

Occasionally when you need an extra prescription collected for you. Our Care Team can collect this on their way to your regular visit, just give us a call and we will let the regular Care Worker know to collect it before they arrive at your visit.

If you need your medication collected on a regular basis, we can include this into your Care Plan. Your regular Care Worker will then communicate with the pharmacy when the medication is running low and collect the prescription when needed.

Any prescribed medication that is no longer needed will need to be destroyed and cannot be placed in your bins. You can take it back to your local pharmacy and they will destroy it for you.

If you cannot get to the pharmacy; collect it all together and a member of our team will be happy to return it to the pharmacy who will then destroy it for you.

We have a trained team to administer medication and nutrition through specialist methods. Our team can provide care and support to manage your medication through a PEG feed. We can help keep the area clean and free from infection and monitor any changes to the area.
